I want my third life
Well.. I agreed, but settinh up HiPiHi turns out to be quite a challenge. I am getting the login screen by now, but something goes wrong when trying to connect...
Thanks sue. I turned it off before, following the advice on your blog, and I can succesfully enter my password. It shows a narrow progress line for about a second and then this dialog comes up. I guess the button says 'OK' in chinese.. Maybe it's complaining about a firewall setting or something DirectX related but it's chinese to me ... :)
Well.. I have tried with different language settings and I keep getting either the message above, or the one posted here.
I haven't contacted support yet. Thought I would try some more for myself first (it's not their fault I can't read chinese :-) I will send them the screenshot if I get stuck.

Try turning off advanced text services in the Hipihi shortcut's properties, on the compatability tab.

Ok.. i just noticed this page has a link to a screenshot of the same error message... It seems that my password is incorrect?
Mmm let me take another crack at this, i'll report my results later.
by the way, have you sent an email to support@hipihi.com, along with an attachment of the error message screenshot?
